At Solar South Africa, we take security very seriously, especially online. Rest assured that we’ve taken every precaution, using the latest security technology to ensure your personal details are safe and secure with us.
All sensitive information you provide is encrypted using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer technology, and we partner with a leading South African payment processor.
In short, this means that we’ve done everything we can to ensure that your details are always safe and secure.

 

What forms of payment do you accept?

At this stage we accept
Electronic Funds Transfer from South African banks / Telegraphic Transfer from international Banks. Note that we will only start processing your order once payment has been verified.

How do I change my order?

Please contact our Online Customer Support Centre within 60 days on : info@solar-southafrica.co.za Our operating hours are 8AM-6PM (Monday to Saturday) and 9AM-4PM (Sundays and public holiday) 

 

Can I return online purchases?

If you are not happy with your purchase, you have up to 60 days to request for a refund. Please ensure you retain all packaging, manuals and accessories. 

 Orders may only be refunded to the payment method they were purchased on. Our delivery fee is non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If you are unable to return your item to store or for any particular reason, please contact our Online Customer Support Agent who can assist in putting you in touch with a courier for you to arrange your collection. Promotional, free or bundled items that were part of a purchase must also be returned.
Returns Policy

60-Days Return Policy

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we accept return requests within 60 days of delivery, under the following conditions:

  • The product must be in its original condition.
  • All return requests must be submitted within 60 days of the delivery date.
  • Upon successful inspection, you may choose between a full refund or a credit to your account.

💡 Refunds may take up to 10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank's processing time. There is no return fee for non-defective products.


Returns Process

  1. Contact Us: Email: info@solar-southafrica.co.za within 60 days of receiving your order.
  2. Collection: We will arrange to collect the item using a return waybill we provide.
  3. Inspection & Refund: Upon receiving and inspecting the product, we will process your preferred refund option within 10 working days.

Damaged Goods

While damages are rare, we understand that issues can occur in transit. If your product arrives damaged:

  • Contact us immediately and include a photo of the damaged item.
  • We will arrange for a replacement unit to be dispatched at no extra cost.

Supply Errors

If your delivery is missing an item or contains an incorrect product:

  • Notify us as soon as possible.
  • We will rectify the error by collecting the incorrect item and delivering the correct product as per your original order.
 

How will I know if my order was successfully placed?

You will receive confirmation of your order via email, and an SMS to the mobile number you registered with or mail  online.support@solar-southafrica.co.za for confirmation

 

How do I cancel my order?

Note that a refund can take up to 10 days to reflect in your account.

 

How much time do you allow to make an EFT payment?

We allow 48 hours for you to conclude an EFT payment. Should the payment not be made in this timeframe, the order will be cancelled.

 

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver world wide, and there are additional charges for deliveries to countries out of South Africa.

 

How will I know when my order will be delivered?

We have a "track and trace” status that can be viewed when you log into your profile. You will also be receiving SMSs from our appointed delivery partner when your parcel is on route to you.

 

I captured the incorrect delivery address. How do I correct it?
